Sunderdas
Saint Sunderdas (1596–1689) was a poet-saint born in Dausa, India, in the state of Rajasthan. A disciple of the great saint Dadu Dayal, from an early age Saint Sunderdas spread his Guru’s teachings on bhakti, devotional love, throughout India. Sunderdas wrote more than forty-eight books containing philosophy, bhajans, and poems in several of the vernacular languages spoken at the time, making his teachings accessible to a wide audience.
