This poem is just so wonderful. Even as a small girl I was fascinated by the moon, creeping out of bed to look through the window to see why it was still so full of light out there! Gurumayi’s love and guidance have brought that inquisitiveness about the moon into my inner and outer life.

Since receiving Gurumayi’s Message, I have been deepening my connection to Surya Devata, the sun, within and without. I have been chanting and meditating with the Surya-gayatri mantras. I have been joyfully bringing my attention to the sun as I see it rising, setting, and shining amidst the trees and clouds throughout the day.
And now, with this poem by Gurumayi, my connection with the moon is reawakened. Since reading it, I have been seeking out darshan of the waxing moon each evening and experiencing her gentle, luminous presence. I also experience her presence and sacredness dwelling in the waters: the creeks, rivers, lakes, oceans, and even the water from my tap. I am very touched and grateful to experience these energies of the sun and the moon within myself and around me. It is my prayer that I more and more fully experience the light of the sun and the moon shining within me and radiating blessings out to everyone and everything.

When I first read this poem from Gurumayi, I was so touched by it. I felt so close to Gurumayi, and saw her in a new way. To read about the time when her fascination with the moon began reminded me of my own fascination with the moon. I have always loved the moon, but ever since I received the blessing of this path, I love it even more. Whenever I see the moon shining brightly, in that moment I always greet Gurumayi inwardly.

I feel so much gratitude in my heart for this sublime poem, for this beautiful reminder of the richness of our world, for this reminder that my life is filled with the divine power that is present here and now.
After reading the poem, I felt so much joy and peace. With even more enthusiasm, I will chant my beloved mantra Om Namah Shivaya to celebrate Gurupurnima, and I will continue to do so afterwards in the same way.
Thank you, Gurumayi, for your great inspiration, which supports me in cherishing my inner experiences and enjoying my path.

I am deeply touched and grateful for this poem. It sheds light on the unfathomable magic that has been unfolding in my life for decades. The last line in the poem, “the light which coruscates along the path of dharma,” comes as a revelation to me! I understand now that this light is what has so compellingly drawn me, in moments of inner doubt, to choose the path of dharma. This is what has given me inner stability and conviction in times of difficulty. This light is what has held me during dark times.

What a lovely poem Gurumayi has given us! For me, it evokes the feeling of soft summer nights and bathing in gentle moonlight. The poem reminded me of Gurumayi’s Message for this year and her speaking of the sun as a symbol of satsang. Then I pondered the interplay of two celestial beings, the moon and the sun. I look forward to enjoying satsang with our moon this Gurupurnima!

For days I’d been yearning for guidance from my Guru. Then, just before reciting Shri Guru Gita with my husband at home, I looked at the Siddha Yoga path website. When Gurumayi’s words appeared on my computer screen, I read them very slowly. As I read the title, Radiance—Grace—Silence, I was astounded. It was as if I was walking with Gurumayi in silence and delighting in our shared inner radiance.
I chose those words to express my intention for our recitation of Shri Guru Gita that day. During the rest of the day, I experienced incredible clarity in my being and profound peace of mind. I vividly felt Gurumayi’s presence as if time had stopped and distances had disappeared. I did not know if I was there with Gurumayi or if Gurumayi was here with me in our home. I was simply this sweet and deep clarity. And this clarity was full of love.
Merci, Gurumayi, from the depth of my spontaneous heart.

I was watching the thin crescent moon last night, rising above the trees in the woods around Shree Muktananda Ashram. I had just read Gurumayi’s poem that morning, and here I was, sharing that magical moment of watching the moon, thinking that my Guru would also be watching it from somewhere else at the same time.
Opposite the moon was the first and brightest star of the sky. Witnessing the moon and the star together made me think of the Guru-disciple relationship. For me, this relationship is the greatest miracle of life, and reflecting on it filled my heart with great gratitude and love.

I love when Gurumayi shares stories of her sadhana experiences. Her words softened my being like the tender moonbeams she describes with so much love. I felt drawn into her stunning world of shimmering, fragrant silence, and also reassured that reveling in the space of the inner realms is a precious and divine way to spend my life.
I feel so blessed to have Gurumayi in my life as a guide for realizing the divine in all the realms.
By the gentle light of tender moonbeams, I wish you Shubh Gurupurnima, Gurumayi.

Such a sweet, lilting, mesmerizing poem—it immediately drew me in, created images, made me "pause and connect" to the present moment, and have a honey-filled moment of satsang.
I have always been drawn to the moon and can gaze at her for hours, feeling her peaceful, cool, and pristine presence wash through me. Often, as a child, I would look for the moon hanging in the sky, sometimes appearing so large that I felt I could reach out and touch it. This year, this month, I shall be looking out for her with a renewed focus and love, drawn into Gurumayi’s imagery, into my sadhana, into satsang, and meditation.
Thank you, Gurumayi. I can feel the moon’s rays bathing me, even though it is broad daylight right now.

I am in awe of Gurumayi’s generosity in sharing these extraordinarily intimate glimpses into the state of a Siddha. I bow in deepest pranam for all that I have received on this amazing Siddha Yoga path, and for Shri Gurumayi’s infinite blessings, that continue to carve and mold my life. May this Guru-disciple relationship last for all eternity.

When I used to wait in the darshan line to come before the Guru, I always wanted a question answered, or favor granted, or to have the Guru pay some special attention to me, or make me feel significant in some way. But once I actually was in front of Gurumayi, all I wanted to say was, "Thank you." I was always so overcome with such feelings of gratitude that nothing else seemed important or worth saying.
Thank you, Gurumayi, for sharing with us your shaktipat experience of the moon. I have always been awestruck by the full moon. Now I know why. Once again I am awestruck by the revelations of my Guru.

While reading this poem, light, grace, and silence shimmered through my body and heart. The blue color and the radiance of the stars in the background, combined with the sound of the words, guided me gracefully into meditation. There, I was surrounded by gentle moonlight, and I felt a deep silence inside. When I opened my eyes and looked up in the sky, I saw the rising of the tiny new Gurupurnima moon, gently covered in pink clouds. What a precious moment.
Thank you, Gurumayi, from deep in my heart, for this auspicious gift and moment of satsang. Shubh Gurupurnima!

A river of shimmering blue light filled me up inside when I started reading Gurumayi’s beautiful Gurupurnima poem. Word by word, verse by verse, an infinite universe was unfolding inside of me. Rays of blue light, shimmering stars, my Guru’s sweet voice were all pulsating through me. I realized that the words in this poem took me on an inner journey to the universe of bliss—unconditional and everlasting love.

When I was a child, I felt mesmerized by the moon. I felt we had a special relationship that I could not put into words. Now that my city has grown so much, I can hardly see the moon anymore.
This sweet poem has brought back not so much the memory but the actual feeling of that personal connection I felt with the moon.

Reading this exquisitely beautiful poem by Gurumayi, I feel ushered into living the remaining days of July in true satsang with the moon. From a delicate crescent as she is tonight, until she grows to her fullness on Gurupurnima, so will I, day after day, grow fuller in energy, steadfastness, and trust.
What an incredible Guru we have! As Gurumayi bestows her grace with such glorious artistic expression, my own creativity and sweetness of the heart are evoked and kindled.

I was contemplating why Gurumayi has shown us these particular ways to celebrate the rising of Gurupurnima. I concluded that by following these ways, by taking time out "to sit in silence" observing the phases of the moon, I would be having satsang with the light of the moon residing inside me in the form of the inner Guru. I would be having satsang with my own Self.
I also understood that after receiving shaktipat from one’s Guru, one’s inner moon shines forth; everything becomes permeated with light and gratitude arises.

Gurumayi’s words of exquisite beauty and profound power shimmer within me like infinite moonbeams; my eyes overflow with tears of gratitude for her constant presence and love.
With the bright rays of the sun blazing upon me through my window this sunny Sunday afternoon, I read and read again. I am enveloped and nourished by the sheer immensity of Shri Guru’s all-encompassing light— far, far greater than the moon, the sun, and all the celestial bodies of the entire firmament.
I offer heartfelt pranam again and again from within the deepest, silent spaces of my being to my peerless Gurumayi. This morning I was pleased to read Gurumayi’s guidance in the beautiful story of her shaktipat experience and her invitation to appreciate the many moons both within and without.
I have always been enraptured by the moon—by its growth from an almost invisible bow of light to its full effulgence and glory. What is that pull that I feel when I observe its beautiful light in the sky? Now I realize it’s my Guru. We are connected each day, each night, by the silent, gentle pull of this moon.

Once again the Guru’s grace has bestowed a wonderful gift in the form of this poem. I sat in silence smelling the herbs, watching the moons, and feeling Gurumayi’s grace.

While reading this poem, my attention was drawn toward the line, "How will we welcome the rise of Gurupurnima this year?" As I started contemplating, I found my answer in the poem itself: "This is your satsang with Gurupurnima."
