No matter where I go or what I do, Gurumayi’s Grace is present and forever unfolding within me. Even when I don’t recognize or understand it, it is opening me, like the petals of the flower, to the endless possibilities present in my life. As each petal bloomed, my heart danced with joy and my breath synchronized with the movement of each petal. My Guru had touched my heart. Then deep vibrations of OM arose from within my heart as I gently glided into meditation.

This week, as I practiced mantra japa in the mornings before meditation, the beautiful lotus flower from Gurumayi’s greeting appeared in my mind’s eye. I saw the undulating petals, the divine perfume gently pulsing outwards from its center, and I felt it permeating my whole being.
As I walked through the park on my way to work, I paused, and as I did so, I could smell the perfume of the earth, the majestic trees, the air, the sun’s warmth, the delight of the birds. I felt held and absorbed by such tenderness.
The image of the lotus flower stayed with me throughout the day. I thought about how everyone’s heart is a lotus flower, and I could see this image in my colleagues at work and within each task.
Thank you, Gurumayi. Thank you for the abundance of wonder-filled gifts and messages of love throughout this year. And thank you to everyone around the globe for your sadhana shares on the Siddha Yoga path website. Such amazing food!

I’ve looked at this Season’s Greetings video quite a few times now. Today it struck me that our lives are like that lotus flower. The water is the universal Consciousness from which we arise in our human body as a baby bud and transform continually, opening up and expanding, nurtured by the light within and without. As we mature, represented by the fullest bloom of the lotus, we become light-filled (from doing our practices). Then the time comes when that light can’t be contained in the flower anymore, and it expands, merging back into that universal Consciousness with the scintillating light!

Last night, I revisited Gurumayi’s talk "Millions of Blissful Moments" that she gave on her birthday this year. In it, Gurumayi wishes for us, "May the flower of the mantra always bestow its benediction upon you."
As I read Gurumayi’s wish, I immediately envisioned the lotus in the video of Season’s Greetings from Gurumayi. I went back to the video and once again watched the lotus arising from the waters, expressing Gurumayi’s love, and then bursting into light. And this time, as it burst into light, it brought my mind into the light with it.

The Siddha Yoga path website is my home page. By the time I boot up my computer in the morning, I am moving fast to get to the day’s activities. Today, as the music for the Season’s Greetings from Gurumayi started to play, I paused for a moment and thought, "Do I start the day with busy-ness, or can I take two minutes to breathe and receive our Guru’s blessings?"
As the greeting played, my breathing became more even and my mind stilled. The music, Gurumayi’s greetings and blessing, and the beautiful sparkles at the end of the video filled me with stillness and peace.

It is now apparent and more beautiful to me each time I replay the video that there is a subtle white light that spreads over the waters like a fine mist just before the lotus bud rises up. That light then pulsates through the flower, like a subtle force that causes the lotus to open and spread its petals. Then that same light continues to pulsate through and out from the flower. It gives rise to the stamens and the sparkling pollen of the flower. And then it sends that sparkling pollen forth to form Gurumayi’s words of love and greeting.
I think that what I’m seeing here is an exquisite representation of divine Consciousness giving rise to and suffusing this loving greeting from Gurumayi, which dissolves into dazzling bursts of golden light and the momentary vision of the Blue Pearl, which then explodes into pure Consciousness itself.

As I saw the soft and tender bud opening into a beautiful, bright, expansive flower, I thought to myself, "Yes! This is how my life should be—blossoming beautifully in every phase of life, in every situation, giving and sharing my inner love and beauty with one and all."
Then the words appeared, "Season’s Greetings" and "With love" from Gurumayi. It was a reassurance, that, yes, this is what Gurumayi wants me to learn at this point.
And how do I do that? By surrendering myself to the Guru’s grace, like a flower surrenders to the sun and the nature that surrounds it.
Many thanks to my Master for helping us revisit the beautiful teachings in so many different forms, again and again.
Then the words appeared, "Season’s Greetings" and "With love" from Gurumayi. It was a reassurance, that, yes, this is what Gurumayi wants me to learn at this point.

I especially love near the ending of the video when silvery fireworks burst in all directions. This is a tangible reminder for me that through the path of sadhana that Gurumayi has given us, we are opening more and more to her infinite grace that is always showering down on us and touching everyone in our lives.

It seems each time I view this lustrous video, I notice something new and lovely, which reminds me of my ongoing sadhana and how I am becoming more and more aware with each passing week. This morning, I noticed a few background petals of white and blue that continually dissolve back into the ocean of Consciousness and then reappear in a lovely rhythm. It reminds me of the ever-present, soothing mantra of my breath, So’ham, supporting me on my journey, opening me up fully to the light and bliss of the Self.

This morning, as I was meditating with my husband, I could feel the pressure of strong energy concentrated in my forehead. I knew it was the work of the shakti and, although the pressure was not comfortable, I opened myself to it, focusing my attention on the sensation of this energy in my forehead. All of a sudden, I saw the image of the blossoming flower of the Season’s Greetings from Gurumayi—widely open and full of delicate colors—right there in my forehead. The pressure had released, and a feeling of contentment and sweetness arose, along with clarified perception.
Though this experience did not last long, it was so perfect for me this morning. It made me contemplate the significance of practicing openness to the shakti and grace, and how being able to do so is a blessing.
I feel that the Season’s Greetings from Gurumayi is like a flower of love and transformation, preparing me for her upcoming Message.

As I engage with this posting and read the beautiful shares, I experience my heart relaxing, opening, and sparkling with wonder. I have recently arrived in Australia after serving on staff at Shree Muktananda Ashram, and I am amazed at how many synchronistic events have taken place between the Siddha Yoga sangham in Melbourne and Shree Muktananda Ashram during the last year.
I am experiencing such incredible light streaming from the faces of devotees and radiating in the walls of the Siddha Yoga Ashram in Melbourne. The same shining light that is represented in this posting is bursting forth from my heart and from devotees’ hearts on opposite sides of the globe. Tonight is the first time I am noticing something spectacular in this shakti-filled video. I now see a delicate, soft, wind-like wave of light moving over the sparkling water before the lotus stem appears and the bud flowers. The wave continues throughout the video. I see it as my Guru’s grace blessing me as each petal of my being opens to the light. And I think of her grace flowing into the world so that it may blossom into peace.

I was so attached to the first Season’s Greetings, the picture of Gurumayi. And when the picture changed, I was very sad. I yearned for the image of my Guru’s loving face. A few days later, when I began to read the shares, I realized that Gurumayi has once again taken me from the form to the formless—from outer appearance to the light of the all-pervasive One, the undivided Self. The music in this wonderful greeting touched me deeply. It is light, crystalline, celestial. I imagine this is what the stars twinkling in the night sky must sound like. As I listened to it again and again, I felt Gurumayi’s greeting in the music too. Such a divine greeting as I celebrate my tenth year on the Siddha Yoga path! It is filled with warmth, love, and the Guru’s infinite blessings. About an hour before I saw this video, I had walked into a dark room. As I walked in, I saw a few tiny white sparkles in front of me, which then quickly disappeared. As I watched the lotus grow, sparkle, and unfold, I felt an unfamiliar kind of impatience bubbling up within. The music was so serene, so sweet, I advised myself to relax, to be patient, to stay with it until the end. And what an ending! Such a mystical experience! The brilliant flash of the Blue Pearl exploding both on screen and deep in my heart!

As I was watching this greeting, I felt immense love and gratitude for Gurumayi. A thought came to my mind about how loving our Guru is, wishing all of us well during each and every celebration, be it her birthday, Diwali, Thanksgiving, or the Holiday Season. It makes me feel that Gurumayi is uniting the whole world, making us understand that we all are one and connected. As she said in her talk Millions of Blissful Moments, "One has become many."

I thought of all of Gurumayi’s greetings over the years. “I welcome you all with love and respect” resonates within me. I will repeat that today as I head to the subway for work.
