This morning I felt a strong desire to chant Om Namo Bhagavate Muktanandaya in the Dhani raga. As I chanted along with the recording, I felt Gurumayi was chanting to Baba with infinite sweetness and devotion. Listening to Gurumayi’s voice, I was filled with incredible strength, and I experienced my own devotion to Baba. What a beautiful way to begin the day!

Whenever I want to chant Om Namo Bhagvate Muktanandaya, this raga arises naturally and spontaneously in my mind. I enjoy chanting it continuously, whether I am engaged in some work or just sitting.

Chanting or listening to the Dhani raga melts my heart! It makes me feel totally free, unrestrained by any obstacle, and I am able to feel myself flowing happily in the realm of Consciousness.

The range and breadth of the melody of this chant fills me with large, expansive feelings. As we chant the low rounds, the steady pace of the drum moves me forward, filling me with a sense of potential. Then, as our voices lift up into the high rounds, I expand!

In those moments I know I am capable of love, and I want to give my love to the whole world. This experience reminds me that Siddha Yoga music is such a powerful means to experience the teachings directly—and as my very own reality.
