The first time I went through the gallery, I was touched by Gurumayi’s presence and interaction with the children in a variety of ways—through a hug, through listening and speaking, through laughter. I received a genuine experience of darshan that caused me to feel uplifted in my spirit and infused with grace.

When I came back to the gallery an hour or so later, I had a deep appreciation for the beauty of the children. On the one hand, I found myself delighted by the natural joy they exude. On the other hand, I was impressed by the sincerity, poise, and focus I witnessed in them as they engaged in the various aspects of their Ashram experience. This gallery of images has suffused me with a sense of the vibrant magic and silent depth of life at Shree Muktananda Ashram—and a profound love and gratitude for these beautiful children. Amazing!

The natural tenderness and sweetness of the children and Gurumayi’s tenderness and delight with them, all bring me in touch with the natural tenderness of my own heart, and my longing to stay connected with this awareness.

Thank you to the photographers who capture these precious moments. Thank you to the editors who select them for our pleasure and upliftment.

Thank you to Gurumayi, whose graceful hand and tender embrace support us all.

I love seeing these beautiful children experiencing the richness of every aspect of our path. They are experiencing the holiness of the Temple, learning to offer so many kinds of seva, and becoming sadhana buddies who will support each other for decades.

Seeing them strengthens my resolve to take care of my own resources—including my health—so that I can continue to offer seva and dakshina. I want to do whatever I can to sustain the path so it will be available for these children and future generations.

This post makes my heart sing and soar! I am grateful for the emphasis being placed on the Siddha Yoga legacy, and I feel a call to action rise up within me since I have two children who are represented by this gathering.

My children love reading these posts, seeing some of their friends, connecting with Bade Baba, and having Gurumayi’s darshan. We talk about what it means for them to be a part of the Siddha Yoga legacy. As we were talking yesterday, my daughter immediately came up with some ideas for meditation instructions that could be used in Siddha Yoga programs for young people.

I feel a sense of enormous gratitude and the duty to carry forward the Siddha Yoga legacy in my own parenting and participation on the Siddha Yoga path. What an amazing life we get to live!

My heart was flooded with gratitude as I viewed this slide show. Memories of my time in Shree Muktananda Ashram with my children many years ago were triggered by these pictures. I had the distinct sensation of being there in the Ashram, and I knew with absolute certainty that all the blessings I had received were not a memory of the past but rather an infusion of love and grace that blesses my life every day. I feel such an abundance of gratitude for Gurumayi and her endlessly unfolding grace in my life.

When I looked at all the pictures of the children, I began to feel so happy and my heart opened wide with a big broad smile.  I remembered in Gurudev Siddha Peeth years ago, on my last day in the Ashram, I went to Bade Baba’s statue in the courtyard and was crying because I was worried I would miss him so much once I left. Very gently and subtly, I received these words from Bade Baba: "Don’t worry. Whenever you look for me, you will find me in the children."
