Viju Kulkarni is a Siddha Yogi from India who was born in Dharwar, Karnataka. She has been following the Siddha Yoga path since 1971 and has served on staff in the SYDA Foundation since 1973 in both Gurudev Siddha Peeth and Shree Muktananda Ashram, as well as on Gurumayi’s Teachings Visits around the world.

Viju tai, as she is affectionately called, has an incredible passion and talent for Indian classical music, which has given her an exceptional opportunity to offer seva as a Siddha Yoga musician for forty-six years. Many Siddha Yogis have been fortunate to receive music training from Viju tai, and they have expressed their great appreciation to learn from a musical virtuoso. They, and many others, have come to admire Viju tai’s patience and profound knowledge of Siddha Yoga music. Viju tai’s singing has been recorded on many Siddha Yoga albums, including Prayers of the Heart, a collection of bhajans and abhangas.
