Kunti Fanjul began her Siddha Yoga practice in Cuernavaca, Mexico, on Mahashivaratri in 1996, having been introduced by her mother and aunt. Kunti has offered seva, primarily as a musician, in Siddha Yoga meditation centers and also on staff in various Siddha Yoga Ashrams. Additionally, she has served in the SYDA Foundation as a speaker and a writer.

Kunti holds a bachelor’s degree in the humanities from the University of the Americas Puebla in Cholula, Mexico, where she also earned a music certificate in classical voice studies. Kunti received a master’s degree in physical theater from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, USA, in collaboration with the London International School of Performing Arts. Kunti, who directs her own opera company, is a professional actor, opera stage director, and screenwriter.
